If you love art and could do without pretense, you'll love the LA Artists Market.This is an inviting little space on Fairfax featuring an eclectic mix of local artists that reminds you of what an art gallery ought to be. They regularly open new shows which means lots of wonderful art to enjoy on their walls (or yours) and receptions that are worth dropping in-on, especially if you're a local looking for something different to do on a Saturday night.
The current show just opened this weekend, Jul 22nd and runs thru Aug 31st. The next show opens with a reception on Saturday, Aug 26th
Aside from the usual gallery receptions, they're doing a waffle brunch Saturday mornings all Summer long. Another great reason to stop by and check out some great art. If you want to pop in during the day, they're open Thurs- Sun, 10a-8p.
